Reflected XSS via unescaped activation URL
Published Jan 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in the WC1C plugin for WordPress 0.23.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via a crafted URL. The activation promotion view passes the request URL through add_query_arg and emits the resulting URL without context-appropriate escaping. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated attacker to lure a user into opening the crafted link, after which injected script runs in that user's browser context.
