CVE-2024-1132Network attack vector

Sensitive information access via redirect path traversal

Published Apr 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 4, 2026

Path traversal in Keycloak 21.1.0 through 22.0.9 and 23.0.0 through 24.0.2 allows remote attackers to access unauthorized URLs. The redirect URL validator accepts crafted path traversal elements in a user-controlled redirect when a client's Valid Redirect URIs setting contains a wildcard. A user must follow the malicious URL; successful use can disclose sensitive same-domain information or enable further same-domain actions.
