Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted traversal upload
Published Nov 18, 2024 · Updated Nov 18, 2024
Path traversal in TRCORE DVC 6.0 through 6.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by uploading a webshell. DVC file-upload processing accepts attacker-controlled traversal paths and does not restrict dangerous file types, permitting placement in any directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and a server-executable upload grants code execution in the application host context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
