Unauthenticated code execution via traversal-enabled file upload
Published Nov 18, 2024 · Updated Nov 18, 2024
Path traversal in TRCore DVC File Encryption 6.0 through 6.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a web-shell upload. The affected upload path accepts directory-traversal input and dangerous file types, allowing attacker-chosen content to be written outside its intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required; placing a web shell in a server-executable location grants code execution with the service's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
