Unauthenticated PHP execution via AJAX file inclusion
Published Dec 6, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Local file inclusion in PenciDesign Soledad 8.5.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute accessible PHP files via AJAX requests. The penci_archive_more_post_ajax_func, penci_more_post_ajax_func, and penci_more_featured_post_ajax_func handlers pass attacker-controlled filenames into PHP inclusion operations. Exploitation is limited to Windows hosts, and arbitrary code execution requires an attacker-uploaded PHP file that the handlers can include.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
