Script execution via unescaped generated URL
Published Dec 21, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in Shopfiles Ltd Ebook Store 5.8001 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through a crafted link. The plugin passes the request-derived URL through add_query_arg() and emits its unescaped return value from functions.php, allowing URL content to enter page output. No authentication is required, but a user must follow the attacker-controlled link; successful exploitation runs the script in that user's browser.
