Candidate account access via unverified Google identity
Published Mar 14, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Authentication bypass in the WP JobHunt component of Chimpstudio JobCareer 7.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to access candidate accounts. The wp_ajax_google_api_login_callback AJAX handler authenticates a supplied Google-login identity without properly verifying that identity. No prior account or user interaction is required, and successful requests provide access to the targeted candidate account.
