Unauthenticated content disclosure via search results
Published Jan 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in WPChill Passster 4.2.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to read restricted content through WordPress search. Passster fails to exclude role-protected posts from WordPress core search results, so matching content is returned without the plugin's access check. No account or user interaction is required; exposure is limited to content from protected posts that an attacker can locate with search terms.
