CVE-2024-11274Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Account takeover via forwarded NEL response headers

Published Dec 12, 2024 · Updated Dec 12, 2024

Open redirect in affected GitLab CE/EE releases allows remote authenticated users to exfiltrate session data through Kubernetes proxy responses. The Kubernetes Agent Server proxy forwards NEL and Report-To headers from an attacker-controlled agent response, causing Chromium to report full same-origin URLs to an attacker endpoint. A Developer-level attacker must connect a malicious agent and lure a Chromium user to the environment page; leaked OAuth codes enable account takeover.
