Contributor-level database disclosure via unescaped category identifier
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
SQL injection in JSP Store Locator 1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive database data through the plugin. The category-deletion handler inserts the user-controlled id parameter into an SQL statement without sanitization, escaping, or preparation. Contributor-level access is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates time-based injection against the WordPress administration endpoint.
