Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked rebootTime length
Published Nov 15, 2024 · Updated Nov 15, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC10 16.03.10.13 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted rebootTime value. The formSetRebootTimer handler for /goform/SetSysAutoRebbotCfg accepts the supplied value into a stack buffer without enforcing its capacity. Access to the router management interface is required; successful exploitation can compromise the router or interrupt its management service.
