CVE-2024-11240Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-site scripting via unneutralized db_login_role input

Published Nov 15, 2024 · Updated Nov 15, 2024

Cross-site scripting in IBPhoenix ibWebAdmin 1.0.0 through 1.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to alter rendered content via db_login_role. The Banco de Dados tab passes the db_login_role argument to database.php, which renders the value without neutralizing browser-executable markup. Reaching this database workflow requires an authenticated session, and exploitation requires a victim to render the crafted response.
