Subscriber-level arbitrary email sending via unchecked function
Published Mar 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Metagauss EventPrime 3.4.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to send arbitrary emails from the site. The ep_send_attendees_email() function invokes email-sending logic without checking whether the caller has the required WordPress capability. A subscriber account can therefore supply arbitrary message content and recipients, causing unauthorized outbound mail under the site identity.
