CVE-2024-11238Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated file deletion via directory traversal

Published Nov 15, 2024 · Updated Nov 15, 2024

Path traversal in Landray EKP 16.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete server files via a crafted directoryPath value. The unauthenticated delPreviewFile action uses directoryPath for deletion without confining the resolved path to the preview-file directory. A public test traverses into the application resource tree and deletes its favicon; evidence does not establish arbitrary file reads or code execution.
