CVE-2024-11220

SYSTEM code execution via crafted RDLX report

Published Dec 6, 2024 · Updated Dec 6, 2024

Privilege escalation in OAS Platform before 20.00.0076 allows local users to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges via an RDLX report. The OAS service executes code embedded in a locally created RDLX report with its SYSTEM authority instead of the report creator's low privileges. Exploitation requires local server access and credentials to the running OAS services, after which the embedded code gains full SYSTEM authority.
