Unauthenticated form-structure disclosure via unchecked export
Published Feb 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Hookturn Advanced Forms for ACF 1.9.3.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to export form structural data. The export_json_file() handler accepted admin-post.php requests containing the required arguments and form ID without capability or nonce checks. No account was required, and disclosure was limited to a form's structural JSON rather than submitted form data.
