CVE-2024-11207Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Service-ticket disclosure via unvalidated service redirect

Published Nov 14, 2024 · Updated Nov 14, 2024

Open redirect in Apereo CAS 6.6 allows remote authenticated users to send service tickets to attacker-controlled URLs after login. The /login flow accepts an attacker-supplied service destination without verifying it as trusted and appends a ticket to the resulting redirect. A victim must follow the crafted login link and authenticate, exposing the ticket to the external service and enabling phishing or indirect session hijacking.
