Sensitive database disclosure via unbound shortcode attribute
Published Feb 7, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in Podlove Subscribe Button for WordPress 1.3.10 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The model/base.php find_one_by_property method concatenates the shortcode-supplied value into a SELECT query instead of binding it. Contributor-level access is required, and successful UNION clauses expose sensitive database records through the existing query.
