Guest-to-host compromise via faulty GDTR restoration

Improper state restoration in OpenBSD 7.4 vmm(4) allows guest OS users to compromise the host during Intel VMX execution. The VM-exit path leaves the host GDTR limit incorrect because vmm(4) does not properly restore that descriptor-table register state. Exploitation requires code execution in a guest on an amd64 Intel VMX host and can cross the virtualization boundary to interrupt the host and alter or disclose host data.
