CVE-2024-11141Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Subscriber-level stored XSS via unprotected datafeed save

Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025

Stored XSS in Sailthru Triggermail 1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through datafeed names. The sailthru_save_datafeed AJAX action accepts a crafted name without CSRF validation or output-safe sanitization and stores it in plugin settings. Subscriber access is sufficient, and the script executes when a privileged user views the stored value, even where unfiltered_html is disabled.
