CVE-2024-11139

Code execution via project-file memory bounds failure

Published Jan 17, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025

Memory-buffer bounds failure in Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Power Build - Rapsody allows local users to execute code via project files. The vendor identifies an out-of-bounds memory operation during malicious project-file processing but has not disclosed the parsing locus or exact invalid operation. Exploitation requires a user to open an attacker-supplied project file, after which code can run with that user's application privileges.
