Authenticated dangerous-file upload via uploadUnity
Published Jan 31, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in openBI 1.0.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to upload dangerous files through uploadUnity. The uploadUnity function in /application/index/controller/Unity.php accepts the file argument without restricting dangerous file types. A valid low-privilege session is required; exploitation writes attacker-controlled content into the application, while public evidence does not establish automatic server-side execution.
