Inappropriate extension handling in Google Chrome before 131.0.6778.69 allows remote attackers to bypass Site Isolation. Google identifies the affected locus only as Blink and has not published the incorrect operation performed on the crafted extension. Exploitation requires user interaction with the crafted extension, and the bypass weakens process separation intended to protect site data rather than directly executing code.
