Subscriber-level denial of service via arbitrary option writes
Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Sky Addons for Elementor 2.6.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter WordPress options. The save_options() function writes attacker-supplied arrays to arbitrary WordPress options without checking the caller's capability. A subscriber account is sufficient, and changes to required or security-sensitive options can disrupt site operation.
