Weak password recovery in Wasiliy Strecker Contest Gallery 24.0.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over arbitrary accounts. The AJAX password-reset handlers update the password for a requested user without first validating that the requester owns that account. No authentication or user interaction is required, and selecting an administrator account grants administrative access.
