Stored script execution via unsanitized doctor name
Published Nov 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
Stored XSS in SourceCodester Online Hospital Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The edit-doc.php handler accepts the doctor's name parameter and stores injected markup, while admin/doctors.php renders the saved value without neutralization. A doctor account is required to plant the payload, and an administrator must view that doctor's details for script to run in the application's browser context.
