Database disclosure via unsanitized projectName query
Published Nov 12, 2024 · Updated Jan 9, 2025
SQL injection in Code Projects Task Manager 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database contents through a crafted projectName value. The newProject.php handler inserts the POSTed projectName value directly into an SQL statement without validation, escaping, or parameter binding. The application has no login system, so network access to the web interface is sufficient to enumerate and read database contents.
