Published Jan 26, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in StellarWP Restrict Content 3.2.13 and earlier allows remote attackers to read restricted posts through search. The plugin fails to exclude access-controlled posts from WordPress REST API search results when the Hide Restricted Posts option is enabled. No authentication or user interaction is required; a crafted search can return content reserved for higher-privileged roles.
