Published Nov 11, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
Cross-site scripting in PublicCMS 5.202406.d allows remote authenticated users to inject script through the Tag Type name field. The /admin/cmsTagType/save handler accepts the name parameter without neutralizing script markup before the value is rendered in the administrative interface. An authenticated backend session is required to submit the value, and execution requires another user to view the affected tag type.
