Arbitrary file disclosure via path traversal
Published Nov 11, 2024 · Updated Nov 24, 2024
Path traversal in D-Link DSL-6740C firmware allows remote attackers to read arbitrary system files without authentication. D-Link and TWCERT/CC have not published the affected request handler, parameter, or path-normalization error. Network access to the management service is sufficient; exposed files can reveal the MAC address used to derive the default password.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
