CVE-2024-11063Network attack vector

Administrator command execution via SSH or Telnet

Published Nov 11, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024

OS command injection in D-Link DSL-6740C allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary system commands through SSH or Telnet. TWCERT/CC identifies a specific SSH and Telnet function as the injection locus but does not disclose the command, input field, or sanitization failure. Administrator privileges and network access to either management service are required; successful exploitation grants command execution on the modem.
