CVE-2024-11046Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via concatenated path parameter

Published Nov 10, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024

OS command injection in D-Link DI-8003 16.07.16A1 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via the path parameter. The upgrade_filter_asp function in /upgrade_filter.asp concatenates the untrusted value into a shell command without neutralizing metacharacters. Access to the password-protected web configuration is required, and injected commands execute in the router firmware context.
