Unauthenticated shortcode execution via unvalidated AJAX input
Published Nov 19, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Code injection in SWEET CODE CHEF SL GamiPress 7.1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes via AJAX. The gamipress_get_user_earnings AJAX handler passes an insufficiently validated request value to WordPress do_shortcode, causing WordPress to invoke attacker-selected shortcode callbacks. No account or user interaction is required; effects depend on installed shortcodes and integrations, so the direct primitive does not guarantee operating-system command execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
