Browser script execution via undisclosed stored input
Published Nov 11, 2024 · Updated Nov 11, 2024
Stored XSS in Grand Vice info Webopac 6 before 6.5.3 and 7 before 7.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in users' browsers. TWCERT/CC has not published the affected input, page, or server-side storage and rendering path that fails to neutralize the injected script. Regular privileges are required to store the payload, and a different user must visit the compromised page; execution can expose or alter browser-accessible data in that user's Webopac session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
