CVE-2024-1102Network attack vector

Database credential disclosure via exception logging

Published Apr 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 4, 2026

Credential exposure in JBeret before 2.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to read database credentials from exception logs. JdbcRepository passes the complete dbProperties object to failToObtainConnection when a job-repository database connection fails, causing usernames and passwords to be rendered in plaintext. Access to the generated console or application log is required, and the disclosed credentials are limited to the configured job-repository database account.
