Database disclosure via unsanitized book identifier
Published Nov 8, 2024 · Updated Nov 8, 2024
SQL injection in Bookstore Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the book_list.php id parameter. The book_list.php handler incorporates the id query parameter into an SQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling UNION-based queries. A valid application session is required, and the published payload demonstrates disclosure of the active database name.
