Authenticated shortcode execution via unvalidated custom title
Published Jan 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Code injection in StylemixThemes Motors 1.4.43 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary shortcodes. The custom listing-title path passes a user-controlled title to do_shortcode without validating the shortcode value. Subscriber-level access and frontend listing submission are required; resulting read or write access depends on installed shortcode handlers.
