Authentication bypass via ambiguous hostname token matching

Improper authentication in the pam_access module of Linux-PAM allows remote attackers to bypass configured login restrictions. The origin matcher treats every access.conf token as a possible hostname, so a remote host named like an allowed PAM service or TTY can satisfy a rule intended only for that local origin. Exposure requires pam_access in the service stack and an affected rule; successful exploitation grants the access authorized by that rule.
