Cross-Site WebSocket Hijacking in GPT Academic 3.83 allows remote attackers to delete conversation history through a victim's browser. The WebSocket handshake accepts cross-origin browser connections without validating the Origin header or requiring connection-specific authentication. A victim must have an existing browser-to-server WebSocket connection and interact with an attacker-controlled page; the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized conversation-history deletion.
