Authenticated script execution via unescaped post filters
Published Nov 6, 2024 · Updated Nov 7, 2024
Reflected XSS in MonoCMS 20240528 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script through crafted post-filter parameters. The opensaved.php Posts page concatenates filtcategory and filtstatus GET values into HTML links without context-appropriate output encoding. The endpoint requires a control-panel session, and the CNA's v3 assessments bound the consequence to browser-side integrity impact with user interaction.
