Memory disclosure or crash via malformed BSON

Improper null-byte neutralization in affected MongoDB Server releases allows remote authenticated users to read server memory or crash the service. BSON request processing fails to reject or neutralize embedded null bytes before constructing malformed BSON, permitting reads past the intended buffer boundary. A valid account and a high-complexity crafted network request are required; successful exploitation discloses process memory or interrupts service.
