Unauthenticated information disclosure via exposed info.xml
Published Nov 6, 2024 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Information disclosure in D-Link DNS-320, DNS-320L, DNS-320LW, DNS-325, and DNS-340L allows remote attackers to read device data. The unauthenticated /xml/info.xml HTTP endpoint returns an XML document containing the NAS model and firmware version instead of enforcing access control. Network reachability to the management service is sufficient; disclosed impact is limited to exposed service data, with no integrity or availability effect.
