CVE-2024-10915Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized group parameter

Published Nov 6, 2024 · Updated Nov 6, 2024

OS command injection in D-Link DNS-320, DNS-320L, DNS-320LW, DNS-325, and DNS-340L allows remote attackers to execute shell commands. The cgi_user_add handler in /cgi-bin/account_mgr.cgi passes the group query value to a shell without neutralizing command separators. No authentication is required; a crafted HTTP GET request grants command execution with the CGI process's appliance privileges.
