Script execution via unescaped options-page URL
Published Nov 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in Dennis Hoppe Gallery Manager 1.6.58 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted URL. The options page passes the request URL through remove_query_arg and emits the result without context-appropriate output escaping. Exploitation requires a victim to follow the attacker-supplied link, after which the script runs in that user's browser context and can read or alter data available to the page.
