Authenticated code execution via unrestricted template inclusion
Published Nov 23, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Local file inclusion in LA-Studio Element Kit for Elementor 1.4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The _load_template function passes an attacker-controlled template path to a PHP file-inclusion operation without restricting it to approved plugin templates. The attack requires Contributor-level access and an includable server file, such as an uploaded image containing PHP code, enabling access-control bypass, data disclosure, or full code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
