Reflected XSS via unescaped activity-log action URLs
Published Nov 23, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in GuardGiant Brute Force Protection 2.2.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts via crafted URLs. The login activity log builds action URLs with add_query_arg() and remove_query_arg() and emits them into HTML without URL escaping. No authentication is required to supply the input, but script execution requires a user to follow a crafted link and load the affected page.
