CVE-2024-10863Network attack vector

Audit-log omission via client-side event capture

Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 26, 2024

Insufficient logging in OpenText Content Manager 10.1 through 24.3 allows remote authenticated users to omit online audit events. The desktop application records audit events on the client, allowing an end-user to exclude them before they reach the central online audit log. Access to the desktop application and a low-privileged user session are required, and only central online audit-log integrity is affected.
