Stored script injection via missing nonce validation
Published Dec 4, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in the Posti Shipping WordPress plugin 3.10.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts through forged requests. The generate_notices_html() function accepts a state-changing request without validating a WordPress nonce, allowing attacker-controlled script content to reach an administrative notice. Exploitation requires a site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link or take an equivalent action, after which the script executes in that administrator's browser session.
