Service interruption via multipart-boundary infinite loop
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025
Uncontrolled resource consumption in DB-GPT 0.6.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt the service via multipart/form-data requests. Multipart boundary processing fails to terminate when excessive characters follow a boundary, trapping the server in an infinite loop. No authentication or user interaction is required, and a crafted request can make every multipart/form-data endpoint unavailable to all users.
