Unauthenticated arbitrary file upload via missing validation
Published Nov 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Vanquish WooCommerce Upload Files 84.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to write files through upload requests. The upload_files() function stores attacker-controlled files without first validating their types. No authentication is required; an executable upload enables code execution when the server exposes or processes the stored file.
